Garden waste collections to restart on a four-weekly cycle
We are partially reinstating the Garden Waste Collection Service initially on a four-weekly cycle and is due to restart on Monday 18 May.

Cost of the service
The garden waste collection service is Free. The service offers every household in the Braintree district access to a 240 litre green wheeled bin which will be collected from spring to autumn.
When we collect garden waste
Garden waste collections are from spring to autumn and are suspended during the winter months.
You can check your collection calendar for your garden waste collection dates.
Putting your bins out
Your wheeled bins should be stored securely within the boundary of your property between collections and put out for collection earliest the night before and latest by 7am on the day of your collection.
If you are moving home within the Braintree District and have paid for a second green wheeled bin, you will need to take your bin with you when you move. You will also need to contact us to request a change of address label for the service.
