Finchingfield and Wethersfield Neighbourhood Plan

Braintree District Council is undertaking a Regulation 16 consultation of the Finchingfield and Wethersfield Neighbourhood Plan between 18th May and 1st July 2026.

Previously...

The Finchingfield and Wethersfield Neighbourhood Area application was approved by Braintree District Council at Cabinet on the 10th July 2023.

 

A joint Neighbourhood Area application was submitted to Braintree District Council by Finchingfield and Wethersfield Parish Councils for the parishes of Finchingfield and Wethersfield in April 2023 under The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations (2012) as amended.

As the application covers two parishes as a single Neighbourhood Plan Area, a six week consultation period was required.

The consultation closed at 4:00pm on Friday 30th June 2023.

Finchingfield and Wethersfield Parish Councils underttook a Regulation 14 Consultation on the Draft Neighbourhood Plan for the Parishs. The consultation closed on 22nd November 2024.

A final Regulation 15 submission was recieved by Braintree District Council in May 2026.
