Earls Colne Neighbourhood Plan
A Neighbourhood Area application was submitted to Braintree District Council by Earls Colne Parish Council for the parish of Earls Colne in February 2019 under The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations (2012) as amended. The application was approved on the 5th March 2019.
The decision was made on the basis that the applicant was Earls Colne Parish Council, who as parish Council are a relevant body, and the area applied for was the whole extent of Earls Colne Parish.

Earls Colne Parish Council are now working on a draft Neighbourhood Plan.
The Earls Colne Regulation 14 Consultation is taking place between 21st October and 2nd December 2023. Details can be found on the Earls Colne Parish Council website.
