Who is eligible for a home visit? 

We can provide  a visiting service to help you if you have difficulty attending the local office due to health problems, disabilities or bereavement.   

What will happen at the visit?

At this visit we can help complete your housing benefit and or council tax support application forms and provide information about other benefits and schemes available to help you.

What happens after I have requested a home visit? 

The Visiting Officer will contact you by telephone and will discuss your details and if necessary arrange a time to visit.

Please note: Our Visiting Officer carries an official identification badge with a photograph on and a contact number for you to ring to check the officer is a genuine caller to your house.
