Ventilation and spotting hazards


If you are cooking food in a van or stall you should install proper ventilation.

Ceiling and wall vents will allow for hot air to escape and fresh air to come in.

Frying ranges should have ventilations through the ceiling or wall behind them.

Spotting hazards

If you run a food business you must spot and get rid of any potential hazards.

Hazards may include:

  • bacterial
  • physical
  • chemical contamination
