We are now consulting on our draft Healthy Housing Strategy, which will guide our approach to all types of housing between 2023 to 2028.
The consultation will run from 13 December 2022 until 5pm on 7 February 2023.
What we are consulting on
We are developing a Healthy Housing Strategy to guide our approach to housing over the next 5 years, supporting the current and future housing offer and needs for those choosing to live in the Braintree district and a route map to tackling the challenges we face.
This strategy will guide our approach to the development of new homes and improvement of existing homes, helping people avoid homelessness and how we can strengthen the links between housing, health, the environment and economy.
Few things are more important than a home, so the way the council approaches housing is critically important to everyone in the Braintree district. We need your help to get that right.
We have agreed a draft Healthy Housing Strategy. The draft document is below:
We would like to know what priorities to improve new and existing housing are most important to you. Anything you tell us is useful so please answer as many questions as you like, in as much or as little detail as you like. You do not have to answer every question.
Your feedback will be used to inform the final version of the strategy which is set to be approved in February 2023.
