Executors of a will
We will not be able to make funeral arrangements where the deceased left a will and we can trace the executor.
In these circumstances, the executor will organise and pay for the funeral.
If the executor no longer wants to carry out their duties, they must:
- make a formal renunciation of the will
- declare that they wish to have no further involvement in the funeral arrangements
We will use the deceased's possessions to help offset the cost of the funeral. If the executor has removed property or possessions from the deceased's home they need to make available to us.
