Anti-Social behaviour

Anti-Social powers

The government have designed anti-social behaviour powers to be flexible, allowing professionals to adapt them to protect victims in a wide range of situations. The Police, councils, housing providers and others work together and share information to deal with the problems quickly and effectively.

The range of anti-social behaviour powers include:

  • Early intervention

We can use early and informal interventions to help stop anti-social behaviour in many cases.

    Options available to us are:

    • Verbal warnings
    • Written warnings
    • Mediation
