Burial statistics
We are responsible for four of the Cemeteries within the Braintree District. These are:
- Bocking Cemetery, Church Lane
- Braintree Cemetery, London Road
- Halstead Cemetery, Colchester Road
- Witham Cemetery, Manor Road

We do not hold information on:
- Burial statistics for non-council run cemeteries
- Cremation statistics
- Cause of death
We consider information held on the interment of ashes to be separate to cremations. Interring ashes is the burial of cremated remains and considered a commemorative event.
Cremations are not conducted by us, as we do not own or run a crematorium. Therefore we hold no information on figures for cremations within the district.
