Do I still need to tell you if my circumstances change?
Yes, you still need to tell us if your circumstances change as this might impact your ‘band’ and therefore your discount.
We will need to be notified of:
- any changes in your household income (If the change takes you into a different income band – please refer to the Income Bands table), or any new income/benefits you may receive.
- any changes in your household. i.e. someone moving in or out.
- any changes in your Child Benefit award.
- any changes in your savings if they exceed £10,000
- any changes in your address.
If you are unsure if a change in your circumstances needs to be reported, it is always best to contact us and check.
Any circumstances that result in a change in your discount, we will then issue you with a new Council Tax bill
