Street naming and numbering fees
The Street Naming and Numbering fees and charges are due to change in April 2025. Details will be made available in due course.
Allow enough time when applying for new or amended addresses as it can take up to three weeks for applications to be processed due to the need to consult third parties.
You must pay the fee online to complete your application form.
Fees
We do not charge VAT on street naming and numbering fees.
Existing properties
- House name or number change; £120.00
- Renamed street or area if asked for by residents; £477.00
New properties
- Per dwelling; £120.00
- New street name - Per Street; £477.00
- Name of building or block or flats or industrial estate; £298.00
New Commercial Units
- Per Unit; £134.00
- Name of building or block or flats or industrial estate - Per building or block or Unit; £298.00
Other charges
Confirmation of plot of postal address for utility company; £45.00. We only charge this fee to utility companies.
