By putting health and wellbeing at the centre of everything we do, the Health and Wellbeing Panel will work with partners to help improve the health and wellbeing of our communities as a whole. We will target areas of health inequalities to enable residents to lead happier, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Priorities have been identified by the Panel based on information gathered and shown in the Livewell Strategy.
The Livewell Strategy 2024-28 sets out the aims and aspirations of the Braintree District Health and Wellbeing to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone living in the Braintree District. View the Livewell Strategy.
The five strategic priorities identified are:
- Reduce health inequalities
- Improve mental health and wellbeing
- Increase participation in active and healthy lifestyle behaviours
- Enable residents to maintain independence and support the most vulnerable to for more for themselves
- Build community capacity and enable our assets to achieve more
