About the grant
This grant allows discretionary payments of up to £2,100 per month (pro rata) to support businesses that were impacted by High Alert (Tier 2) and Very High (Tier 3) level restrictions, but not legally required to close.
Which businesses were impacted by the restrictions?
- hotels, bed and breakfasts and accommodation
- leisure
- hospitality businesses
Which businesses are eligible?
To qualify for this grant, your business is within the Braintree District which:
- was trading between the 2 December to the 19 December 2020
- has a business premises
- is in the hospitality, leisure, bed and breakfast or hotel sector
Note: Businesses within the hospitality sector that predominantly trade as a takeaway service are excluded from this grant.
