Pay online
You can pay your Council Tax instalments using our online payment system.
You can pay your Council Tax online using most debit and credit cards.
We don’t accept American Express.
To pay your Council Tax online using a debit or credit card, you will need:
- your Council Tax account number from your bill
- to know the amount that you need to pay
- your card details, including the card number, CSV number, and start and expiry date
- your email address
You can also use our online payment system to check your Council Tax balance.
You can register for Open Portal which gives you access to your Council Tax bill online.
Your instalments are due on the first of the month. You pay online so your payment reaches us on time. We will take recovery action for late payment.
