Youth engagement survey

We recognise the importance of engaging with young people in the district, they are of course the next generation of service users.

We want to gain the views of the younger population in our district. This will help us plan for our future and ensure we are meeting the needs of our younger residents as well. With social distancing and government guidelines in place, we have to look at new ways to reach young people and encourage their engagement until we can visit schools again.

We are looking for 13-18 year olds in the Braintree district to complete our survey.

The survey covers topics such as:

  • emotional wellbeing
  • socialising
  • crime
  • environment
  • the Council
  • social media use

No questions are mandatory, but we encourage a response.

The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes. Responses are anonymous but we will ask if you would like to join our Youth Panel. If you would like to join the panel will we will need to collect an email address or phone number. We will only use these details to contact you for the Youth Panel.

Responses will not be publically attributed to you and are anonymous.

If you are under 16, you must ask permission from your parent/guardian before taking part in this survey.
