Social Isolation and Loneliness Partnership Forum
The aim of the Forum is to bring together key partners across the district who are working to address social isolation and loneliness.
Key Objectives:
- Work in partnership to maximise the impact of efforts to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
- Avoid duplication of work.
- Share information and expertise to better understand effective approaches.
- Identify individuals and groups experiencing loneliness to ensure targeted support.
- Highlight areas of need.
- Support appropriate signposting when required.
- Encourage joint or district-wide communications.
- Pool resources or identify funding opportunities for specific initiatives, where appropriate.
Membership of the Forum is open to any organisation working to address social isolation and loneliness and is willing to collaborate and work in partnership.
