Community support and employment service

The Community Support and Employment Service is a new free service that we are offering. We are working alongside the Department for Work and Pensions to deliver this.

This service offers people living in the Braintree District help with employment including:

  • help finding a job
  • accessing training
  • help with any personal issues that are making it difficult to find employment

We offer this service to anyone who is:

  • currently unemployed
  • in fear of unemployment
  • those not engaged in the job market due to personal issues

 

How this service can help you

This service can provide many different types of support for help finding employment. This includes:

  • help writing a CV
  • job application skills
  • interview skills
  • help finding job security and satisfaction
  • develop new skills
  • becoming more confident and assertive
  • meet similar minded people
  • revisiting education and training
  • improving health and wellbeing
  • volunteering
