Items we collect
Some large items, such as corner sofas and American‑style fridge freezers, count as two items when booking and paying for a collection. You can find full details in the list below.
Items we don’t collect
We do not collect:
- Asbestos
- Concrete
- Boilers
- Bricks and rubble
- Car and motorbike parts or tyres
- Commercial appliances
- Commercial, industrial or clinical waste (including hypodermic needles)
- Garden waste, trees and bushes
- Gas bottles
- House clearances
- Large quantities (skip load)
- Liquids - waste oils, paint tins, corrosive or noxious liquids
- Loose material requiring excessive handling
- Oil tanks or full water tanks
- Pianos
- Sunbeds
- Range cookers/Aga’s
- Sheds, greenhouses and coal bunkers
- Food waste
- Ride-on lawnmowers
- Bags of general refuse waste
- External windows and doors (inc patio doors)
- Plasterboard (Gypsum)
- Hot tubs
- Granite worktops
- Fireplaces/Mantlepieces
- Metal fencing
- Other hazardous waste
