Council Tax support: Pension age claimants

To be eligible for the scheme, you must:

  • be eligible to claim State Retirement Pension (including your partner)
  • be liable to pay Council Tax for your property
  • be living in the property as your main home
  • have less than £16,000 in savings.
  • non-dependants can affect how much Council Tax Support you're awarded
