Poll card error
We're aware that that the poll cards issued by Braintree District Council for the Essex County Council elections taking place on 7 May all ECC electoral divisions within the Braintree district include an error. Read more on our Elections 2026 page
6 wards within our district will now come under the Witham parliamentary constituency at the next general election, these being:
- Cressing
- Colne Engaine
- Earls Colne
- Pebmarsh
- Stisted
- White Colne
2 wards within our district will now come under the Braintree parliamentary constituency at the next general election, these being:
- Black Notley
- Braintree (Hill House)
