The Met Office have issued severe weather warnings in relation to Storm Henk which is due to impact the south of England this evening.
Current weather warnings suggest potential gusts of 50-60 miles per hour in areas across the Braintree District. We may therefore receive a large number of reports about fallen and damaged trees on Wednesday.

We will respond to all enquiries on the basis of urgency and assess priorities depending on the volume and severity of the problem. Please note that any remedial work will only be able to be carried when it is safe to do so once the storm has passed.
Trees that have fallen onto the public highway or public right of way causing an obstruction should be reported to Essex County Council.
