Our Apprentices
Here’s what a few of our apprentices have to say…
Penny: “Apprenticeships aren’t just for youngsters – age is no barrier! Being a mature apprentice has allowed me to continue with developing my skills whilst still working. I chose this route as I preferred the work-based learning approach, the combination of studying and putting the learning into practice – it offers me the flexibility to learn in a style that suits me. Apprentices have the benefit of full training and an amazing network to meet others. My apprenticeship has developed my capabilities even further.”
Imogen: “I like working as an Apprentice, as my colleagues are always supportive and willing to help me learn new skills. Since working here, I have had many amazing development and networking opportunities such as attending events, training courses and Apprentice Network sessions.”
Josie: “I’m a Housing Apprentice. Having already completed a degree in later life, I wanted to do an apprenticeship in a field where I could gain valuable front-line experience and finish with a qualification. I have really enjoyed working in Housing as no two days are the same. I have worked with clients at their lowest point, and this has been very rewarding helping them through their challenges.”
Molly: “I love how many opportunities I’ve had since becoming an Apprentice. My colleagues are so supportive and always allow me to try new things. I always feel my work and contribution to the team is valued.”
