Our Apprentice's achievements
Well done apprentices!
Our apprentices at Braintree District Council have had some fantastic achievements recently, so we'd love to celebrate them here!
Molly, Josette, Imogen, Joshua, Louis, James & Emily all took part in the Local Government Apprentice of the year (21 - 22 May 2024). We have had the reports back from the development coaches for each team and they all received great scores for their innovation, professionalism, communication and teamwork on the day. We could not be more proud of them.
Joshua was on the winning team and won an Amazon voucher! He said: "I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Apprentice of the Year event. The staff, my colleagues and all the other apprentices turned this scary event into a wonderful experience and fantastic day. I was able to embrace new challenges, collaborate with people I have never met before and vastly improve my confidence'.
Emily received a Rising Star award for her team work at Local Gov Apprentice of Year too.
Troy has completed his apprenticeship and achieved a Merit. He was just one mark away from distinction. His Development Coach said this about him: “It’s been a pleasure working with Troy and he had a great portfolio of evidence. My favourite was that Troy organised the printer relocation as part of problem solving.”
Well done to Katie and Penny for completing their level 5 apprenticeships.
Well done to Imogen for passing her Apprenticeship EPA and hitting the distinction criteria on 2/3 parts! It was a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Customer Service.
Congratulations to Emily for completing her Health and Wellbeing Level 3 apprenticeship.
Well done to Joshua for achieving a distinction in his Level 3 Digital Marketiing apprenticeship.
