Charges for information published under our scheme
The Publication Schemes purpose is to make information available:
- at the smallest cost to the public
- at the smallest inconvenience for the public.
Charges made by the Council for published material will be:
- justified
- transparent
- kept to the smallest cost possible
Unless stated otherwise, material accessed on a website is free of charge.
Some information is subject to a charging regime specified by parliament.
There are charges for actual costs incurred such as:
- photocopying
- postage and packaging
- direct costs incurred as a result of viewing information
Other charges can apply if there is a legal authorisation.
If a charge applies, confirmation of payment is due before we provide the information
