Different organisations manage bus shelters in our district.

If you want to report damage to or the need to clean a bus shelter, you can contact:

  • Adshel bus shelters; contact Clearchannel on 01832 293712 or email Graham.Maddams@ClearChannel.co.uk. You must give the number of the shelter if possible. If the damage is a result of a road traffic accident, you must also report the incident to the police
  • Braintree District Council bus shelters; contact our Street Scene team by phone or email.  If the damage is a result of a road traffic accident, you must also report the incident to the police and to our Insurance Officer
  • Witham Town Council bus shelters; contact Witham Town Council on 01376 520627 or email townclerk@witham.gov.uk. If the damage is a result of a road traffic accident, you must also report the incident to the police
  • Essex County Council bus shelters; contact Essex County Council Passenger Transport on 0345 743 0430.  If the damage is a result of a road traffic accident, you must also report the incident to the police

Any shelters not in our schedule are in rural areas and are the responsibility of the parish councils. You need to contact the parish council to report damage to or the need to clean a bus shelter.
