The unaudited Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2023 has been published.

The Statement of Accounts is unaudited and may be subject to change. The accounts are subject to audit by the Council’s external auditor BDO LLP.

From 10 October 2024 to 21 November 2024 any interested person may inspect and make copies (of all or any part) of the accounts and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts, except in relation to confidential and personal information.

The external auditor is Aphrodite Lefevre, Audit Director, BDO LLP, 55 Baker Street, London, W1U 7EUY.

During the inspection period, local electors have the following rights:

to question the auditor about the accounting records (or have a representative do so for you)
to make an objection to the auditor which concerns a matter in respect of which the auditor could make a public interest report or could apply for a declaration that an item of account is unlawful

A proposed objection must be made in writing and sent to the external auditor and copied to the Council.
