Support for Ukraine

Other ways to help

Donate

There are many organisations providing humanitarian aid to the war in Ukraine who would welcome any support you can give.

The Government has pledged to match donations to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine fund, up to £20m.

You can donate through the Red Cross Crisis Appeal  for Ukraine. Donations will be used to provide emergency parcels to refugees, support hospitals and healthcare facilities and rebuild infrastructure.

Locally

Many local charities and community organisations are responding to the crisis in Ukraine and are asking for help through local social media groups and forums. Most groups offering support during the crisis are helping in very specific ways so it is important for you to find the right organisations for the support you can offer.

You can also find ways to help on the UK Government’s dedicated webpage, which also explains how to do so safely.

More ways you can help can be found on the Essex County Council website
