To complete this form you will need:

  • your name, address and contact details
  • your email address
  • Social media channels
  • measurements for your stall in metres
  • your electricity requirements including:
    • all electric appliances and maximum wattage
    • Supporting PAT test certificates
  • a copy of your gas safety certificates for any gas appliances
  • Generators are not permitted
  • a copy of your health and safety policy
  • a copy of your completed risk assessment or method statement
  • a copy of your public liability insurance documents. This is mandatory for all traders to trade with us, and insurance cover must be a minimum of 5 million indemnity.
  • If you are a food trader, you will be required to complete a Food Stalls Assessment form, the Environmental team require this to be submitted yearly. This is required even if you have been approved to trade with us in the past as an existing trader. You will not be approved to trade, until the Environmental Team have assessed and approved you to trade with us.

This form is to apply to trade at the virtual, monthly street or weekly traditional markets in Braintree District.
