Braintree District Council in partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced an autumn job fair will take place at Witham Public Hall this October.
The job fair will be free to attend and takes place on Tuesday 14 October between 9.30am and 12.30pm in the town centre with nearby parking available at Newlands Drive car park.
Anybody looking for local job opportunities, career development, training or qualifications is welcome to attend and speak to stall holders in areas including the Armed Forces, engineering, local government, teaching, care and more.
This job fair follows the spring job fair earlier this year held in Braintree which attracted 350 attendees.
Cllr Frankie Ricci, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth at Braintree District Council, said: “We are committed to delivering more jobs fairs across the Braintree district to enable our residents to connect with employers and explore new career opportunities in the district and across Essex.
“Whether you’re just starting out in your career, looking to change career paths or want to retrain – this event in Witham will be an opportunity to find out more and make the first steps and connections that you need.”
No booking is necessary and attendees are welcome to turn up on the day.
