Braintree District Council held a business support networking event on Friday, 26 July in support of local rural businesses.

The event ran from 10am to 12.30pm at the business park in Earls Colne.

Businesses heard presentations from Essex Highways, Essex County Council, Let’s Do Business Group, Essex Police and the North Essex Economic Board.

Speakers shared information on travel projects within the region, offered insights into business support programmes and shared advice on cybersecurity.

Cllr Frankie Ricci, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Infrastructure at Braintree District Council, said: “With these events, we are supporting local businesses with valuable resources and opportunities for growth. By bringing together experts from various sectors, we are equipping local businesses with the knowledge and connections they need to succeed in today’s competitive landscape. I am confident that the insights and advice shared at this networking event will have a positive impact on businesses now and in the future.”
