A series of FREE workshops, designed to boost knowledge and skills, will begin at our centre for enterprise and innovation this week.
The workshops will cover a range of topics and each session is open to two employees per business.

Workshop 1: How to trade out of the 'cost of living' crisis
The workshop will address some of the issues exacerbating the cost-of-living crisis. The session will explore strategies for growth and ways in which businesses can access new markets, develop product families and control cash flow.

The workshop will run from 10am to 3.30pm and is for businesses with 2 to 25 employees.
Workshop 2: How to increase productivity
Productivity is about the effective and efficient use of resources. Productivity improves when you get more out of existing resources or the same out of fewer resources. This workshop will examine the various strategies and techniques which can be used to improve productivity within an organisation.

The workshop will run from 10am to 3.30pm and is for established businesses.
Workshop 3: How to recruit staff and upskill employees
People are an important asset and it’s important to give people access to the right tools and resources to help them perform to the best of their abilities. This workshop covers how to recruit people with the right skills, maintain skills and training, retain top talent and manage the processes around people and their development.

The workshop will run for 2 hours from 10am to 12 noon.
Workshop 4: How to motivate staff
The ability to direct and motivate people is critical to the success of high functioning teams and organisations. This workshop will focus on recognition and rewards, retention and appraisals, leadership and management styles and communication skills.
