Martin Green was elected to Braintree District Council in a by-election last night in the Braintree South Ward and Dennis Abram in the Coggeshall Ward.
Braintree South Ward
The result was as follows:
- Simon Anthony Attwood, Green, (134)
- Stephen William Bernard Canning, Conservative, (317)
- Martin John Green, Labour, (372)
Turnout: 17.43%
Coggeshall Ward
The result was as follows:
- Dennis John Abram, Independent, (576)
- Robert James Powers, Labour, (297)
- Christopher William Siddall, Conservative, (451)
Turnout: 28.28%
