Free Admission

A toilet is located in the Gardens.  The toilet has been designed to be accessible for those with disabilities.
Refreshments can be purchased within an easy walk of the Gardens. For the safety and enjoyment of all park visitors, please do not cycle in the park and please keep dogs on leads.

Features of the Gardens

The Gardens have many special features including three children’s play areas, a range of seating and a pond, all set amongst extensive grassed areas surrounded by lime and chestnut trees with a central double avenue of poplar and cherry trees as well as glorious specimen trees, mixed borders, rose and heather gardens, a pergola and a Japanese Garden.  The Gardens are protected by railings with three sets of historic gates embellished with commemorative plaques.
