Notice of Intention to Republish the Register of Electors

In accordance with the Representation of the People Act 1983 and the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001 notice is hereby given of the Electoral Registration Officer’s intention to republish a revised Register of Electors on 2 March 2026. Electors registered in the area do not need to take any action as a result of this notice.
The purpose of this new publication is to enable the implementation of new polling districts to facilitate the introduction of the new Essex County Council boundaries that come into effect at the elections on 7 May 2026. The polling districts effected are AY(1), which is now split into AY(1) and AY(3) and the creation of BO(2). The remaining polling districts remain unchanged.
