To approve the amendment of the Disabled Facility Grant (DFG) policy to allow discretionary funding for stair lifts only to be installed without the necessity for means testing of the applicant. Should it be determined that funding is likely to be insufficient to provide mandatory DFGs it remains appropriate to with draw this discretionary provision without further notice
