4. Functions of the Community Development Group - Constitution - Chapter 1, The Articles

4.1. The Community Development Group will perform the following functions:-

4.1.1.  To conduct reviews of policy, services and aspects of services where there is an identifiable need, by itself or through the establishing of a task and finish group;

4.1.2.  To make suggestions on the development of policies and suggest new policies where appropriate;

4.1.3.  To work with or appoint representatives to work with other local authorities to carry out joint scrutiny;

4.1.4.  In relation to the following areas:

4.1.4.1.  community priorities and solutions

4.1.4.2.  engaging and identifying needs of other groups

4.1.4.3.  building relationships to ensure policies are developed to empower and not constrain

4.1.4.4.  reputation management through promotion, delivery and communication

4.1.4.5.  town and parish council shared working (identifying opportunities whilst establishing priorities).
