About the area

This long stretch of open space is a mixture of formal park areas and more natural areas, including scrub areas, wildflower meadows, amenity grassland, coppice and long stretches of river. The three areas can be used separately but also as a walk which is linked by the Braintree end of the Flitch Way and runs right across the south of Braintree town.
