details of occupancy, lease or freehold interest in the property
information needed to process any applications
Purpose for processing
If you are carrying out construction work, you must get it inspected by a building control body to make sure:
it meets Building Regulations
you are building the development in a safe way

We use the information you provide to:
determine your building regulations application
contact you to arrange inspections of the site during construction.

We will carry out site inspections if we receive a report of a breach of building regulations.
Lawful basis for processing personal data
We process your data on a lawful basis.

We process your data to meet our legal obligations.

We need the information you provide to keep a record of applicants and proposals under:
the Building Act 1984
the Building Regulations 2010

We process your data where you have given us your explicit consent.
Providing accurate information
It is important that we hold accurate and up to date information about you. This helps us assess your needs and deliver appropriate services.

You must tell us immediately if any of your details change so that we can update your records.

fail to disclose changes in circumstances

We only keep your data for as long as necessary.

We keep the personal information you provide for 15 years after:
completion of your project
you have received your certificate of completion.

After this time, we destroy your information in a secure way.
