You can find Bocking cemetery just off Church Lane, Bocking. The cemetery has separate areas for:
cremated remains interment
Roman Catholic interments
- About the cemetery
The cemetery has a chapel which can seat up to 40 people.
The chapel doesn't have an organ. Families need to supply their own music or musicians for funerals and services.
There is free onsite parking and public toilets.
- Opening times
We do not lock the gates at Bocking Cemetery. However, the permitted hours of use are:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 8pm (or sunset, whichever comes first)
Weekends and Bank holidays: 9am to 8pm (or sunset, whichever comes first)

There are hand washing facilities located in the car park opposite the cemetery.
You should follow social distancing when you are in the cemetery.
This is not only for your own safety but also the safety of others.
- Additional space
At the moment., we only have space in the consecrated Church of England and Roman Catholic sections.
We have planned an extension to accommodate un-consecrated ground, but this section is not available for use.
