The grounds for the application for review are as follows: 

The prevention of crime and disorder

Trading Standards contends that the licence holder is undermining "The Prevention of Crime and Disorder" objective, by allowing criminality to take place at the premises through the sale of illicit tobacco and prohibited single use vape products.

A copy of this application may be inspected on the Licensing Register at Causeway House, Braintree from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Interested Parties and Responsible Authorities may make representations to the Licensing Authority (Braintree District Council). All such representations shall be made in writing within 28 days between 25 November 2025 and 22 December 2025.
