Criteria
Must be aged 18+ (or 16–17 in limited circumstances), live in the Essex County Council area, and be on a low income with little or no savings. Support is considered where someone has experienced a financial shock (for example a sudden expense, loss of income, homelessness, domestic abuse, health crisis or breakdown of an essential item) and has no other reasonable means of support available. Evidence of financial circumstances is required. Support is discretionary and short‑term.
