3k fun run throughout the Bocking and Blackwater Nature Reserve to encourage people who wouldn’t normally exercise to do so, hence the distance is shorter than a usual parkrun distance to accommodate people of varying abilities. The main purpose in more detail is to try and get local families who may have been inactive during the pandemic to ease back into light physical activity by providing a fun and simple event for all ability levels in an attractive and scenic location.
