Driving offences involving the loss of life Existing period of time in which a licence would be granted, from completion of sentence or from date of conviction. Proposed period of time in which a licence would be granted, from completion of sentence or from date of conviction.
  • Causing death by dangerous driving 
  • Causing death by careless driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
  • Causing death by careless driving: unlicensed, disqualified or uninsured drivers
  • Or any similar offence (including attempted or conspiracy to commit) offences which replace the above.
A licence will not be granted Refusal
