 Dishonesty Existing period of time in which a licence would be granted, from completion of sentence or from date of conviction. Proposed period of time in which a licence would be granted, from completion of sentence or from date of conviction.
  • Theft 
  • Burglary
  • Fraud
  • Benefit fraud
  • Handing or receiving stolen goods
  • Forgery
  • Conspiracy to defraud
  • Obtaining money or property by deception
  • Other deception
  • Taking a vehicle without consent
  • And any similar offences
  • Or any similar offence (including attempted or conspiracy to commit) offences which replace the above
Minimum period of 5 years free of conviction or at least 3 years have passed since the completion of sentence (whichever is longer) At least 7 years elapsed since completion of any sentence imposed
