Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
Due to the national lockdown there are restrictions on shops, businesses and venues in our town centres. You must follow guidance and social distancing when you visit a town centre.
Under the current lockdown restrictions, some shops, businesses and venues cannot open or are working with restrictions on how they provide goods and services.
We have put measures are in place for people visiting town centres to shop safely and responsibly, including floor markings and signage.
We are reminding anyone who visits the town centre to:
- keep a safe distance apart while queuing and shopping
- don't touch anything that you are not buying
- wait your turn to keep everyone safe
- avoid cash and pay contactless where possible
- wash or sanitise your hands regularly, and thoroughly during your visit and when you get home
Where social distancing is not possible, consider wearing a face covering.
