We have worked with traders to put measures in place to keep customers safe. This includes making changes to the layout of the stalls, hygiene facilities and signs reminding shoppers how to stay safe when they are waiting, including:
- keeping 2 metres apart when queuing and shopping
- washing hands regularly and thoroughly once home
- browsing but not touching items on the stalls until you are buying
We are doing what we can to make the town centre safe for people to visit. However, it is still people’s responsibility to be sensible and safe and keep following government guidance.
