Register to speak at Public Question Time

This form is to register to speak at Public Question Time.  

Before completing this form, please note the following:

  • In submitting this form, you have made a request to register for Public Question Time. You are not guaranteed to speak during Public Question Time.
  • If your request to speak has been granted you will receive a confirmation email from the Governance service.
  • The Council reserves the right to decline/reject any request to speak during Public Question Time.
  • Requests to register must be received by the deadline for that meeting – 12 noon on the second working day before the meeting.  Requests received after the deadline may be declined.
  • At any one meeting no person, organisation or group may submit more than one question or statement.
  • The rules for Public Question Time are set out in the Council’s Constitution.
  • You will be attending a public meeting which is open to the public and will be broadcast on the internet and recorded by the Council.   Personal data will be captured by the Council’s broadcast and by any other person who may be making their own recording in accordance with the public access rules.

The following information is required to enable to Council to manage the meeting and if necessary to contact you about this meeting.  Your information will not be shared with third parties but may be shared with the relevant service of the Council.
