About the hearing
The Planning Inspectorate has received an appeal against a planning application submitted relating to a site at Stock Street Farm Barn, Stock Street Farm, Coggeshall, Essex, CO6 1NX.
The appeal is against an enforcement notice served upon the land. The appeal has been made by Mr and Mrs Staines.
The Secretary of State appointed a Planning Inspector.
The hearing will start at 10:00am on 07 December 2023 to determine this appeal.

Joining the hearing
Before deciding whether to take an active part in the hearing, you need to think carefully about the points you wish to make.
All representations sent during the assessment of the planning application and appeal stage will be taken into account by the Inspector and re-stating the same points won’t add any additional weight to them.
If you feel that taking part in the hearing is right for you in whatever capacity, you can participate in a number of ways.
If you just wish to observe the event, you can do so:
- in person by visiting the Council’s Offices at Causeway House
If you like to participate in the hearing, for example to give your views, you can do this too.
In order to participate, you will need to visit the Council’s Offices at Causeway House and be present during the event.
