| Overview of the Parish |
Sturmer is a Parish in the north-west corner of the Braintree District. The Parish borders Suffolk (St Edmundsbury District) as well as the parish of Steeple Bumpstead to the south. This is the more rural northern area of the District, where Suffolk and particularly the nearby town of Haverhill would also provide services for residents. The population of Sturmer is 492 (Census 2011). |
