Overview of the Parish

Sible Hedingham is one of the larger villages in the Braintree District and is located centrally in the northern portion of the Braintree District on the A1017 between Braintree and Haverhill.

Sible Hedingham is one of the six ÔKey Service VillagesÕ which Braintree District Council identifies as larger villages which also provide services for their smaller surrounding villages and hamlets.

The population of Sible Hedingham is 3,994 (Census 2011).
